180-Acre Hunting Lease in Todd County, Minnesota

This property sits in the Long Prairie River Valley, which is an area known for producing big bucks. The 9th largest buck in the state was harvested just a couple miles away (2012). Most of the property is thick grass, brush and low ground, and there will be a few nice spots to hang tree stands as well. A portion of the farm is cut for hay, and you will find plenty of areas for food plots. I think food plots would be dynamite on this lease due to the fact that it's not surrounded by a lot of row crops. Permanent stands are allowed on the property, and there are a couple of higher hills that would be perfect locations for those stands. This property will be a great for waterfowl and pheasants. The hayed areas on the property are a magnet for the geese. Duck hunting should be awesome on the river and it will extend your season due to the fact that the river will stay open long after all the local ponds freeze over. The property is very secluded by the river and must be accessed by crossing the river. Zone is shotgun. 180 acres.
