Straight answers to the questions hunters and landowners ask before their first LandKey lease.
Still curious? Talk to the teamNothing extra. LandKey is built into every HLRBO lease. Landowners pay no fees or commissions on a lease that runs through HLRBO, and hunters pay the lease price plus the marketplace fee at checkout. The agreement, the e-signatures and the payment record are part of the deal, not add-ons.
Yes. Every lease closes on a state-specific hunting lease agreement, e-signed by both parties and stored in both dashboards. E-signatures carry the same legal weight as ink under federal law.
The agreement you both signed records the acreage, access and dates the lease was sold on. If what you find on the ground does not match it, message the landowner through HLRBO so the exchange is on the record, and contact us if the two of you cannot resolve it.
Insurance is not part of the lease and HLRBO does not provide it. The hunter is emailed directions for obtaining coverage from an outside provider, and the landowner decides whether to require proof of it before signing.
Payouts go to the account the landowner connects to HLRBO once the lease is executed. If the hunter pays over four installments with Affirm, that's between the hunter and Affirm. The landowner still gets the full amount up front.
Yes, and it's the most common way landowners start. Invite your hunter, drop your existing terms into a LandKey agreement, and both of you get the e-signed agreement and the payment record without changing the deal you already shook on.
Shake on it.
We'll handle the rest.
LandKey is included with every lease on HLRBO, at no extra cost to landowners.
